You can still join our Sashiko Block of the Month Quilt Program, our Facebook group and friendly staff are ready to answer your questions. A great way to learn Sashiko and Quilting.
Jane has kept this quilt design quite simple to feature kamon patterns, as well as highlighting boro/slow stitching, appliqué and transferring designs. Jane decided to include sashiko stitch dragonflies on the border as a way of illustrating how to transfer sashiko designs. Jane shows that transferring designs is an important and easy skill to learn that can be used in future projects.
